After spending the last few days and part of the nights almost completely closed in the studio, Inge and I went out today for a walk along the Spaarne river. Typical Dutch sun and wind, beautiful day, perfect for walking, necessary to recharge and resting the ears. True, we are in isolation, although isolation personally is a necessary condition, which I am used to when I write and when I record. As in any other emotional state and moment, my little “spaceship”, the studio, helps me to go through time, to put it to music, but what would I be without the Sun and the stars?… See you soon.
