Sussurround & Tenedle are pleased to announce “THE GIFT” the first single from the new album DEMETRA. The song will be released on September 30th on all the digital platforms together with a new luminous visual.
We have chosen this track, a pop song with a statement and a solid message, to open this new “book” of songs, sounds and visions that give shape to “Demetra”. We will back soon to announce the album release date.

WRAPPED AROUND PROKOFIEV
At the beginning of the Summer the artistic direction of the Kennemer Jeugd Orchestra asked me to create a composition and produce a piece for Orchestra a Rapper and two young soloists (piano and drums) to be presented on September 10 at the Haarlem Philharmonie in the Netherlands.
The project, born from an idea of ​​the Orchestra’s Director Matthijs Broers and the Philharmonie itself, immediately intrigued me and during the first meeting with the three young artists and all the representatives of the parties involved an idea came to my mind, I don’t know why, Prokofiev’s theme “Capulets and Montecchi” (from Romeo and Juliet) had to be the “theme” to work around. In the following days, before fully accepting the assignment, I produced a track that revolved around this theme, composing a sort of “cinematic” orchestral accompaniment that was supposed to support the rapper and highlight the cross-over nature of the co-working. Of course, all included drum-machine, sequencers, scratches samples and loops. I was satisfied of the demo and I proposed everything to the artistic commission of the KJO which with the same enthusiasm definitively commissioned me to carry out the production. Well, rehearsals are underway and it was a pleasure to meet Matthijs Broers and the guys, participate and work with everyone. Appointment Saturday September 10 at the Philharmonie in Haarlem, An amazing venue, I think I will wear the bow tie!! Joking aside, I am very very happy, however an amazing and important project.
