It is a great privilege and honor to announce my presence as a guest at the Premio Ciampi (Prize) 2017. After two attempts over the last few years through the competition, this year in May I received the first informal invitation form the directors Franco Carratori and Massimiliano Mangoni. Today, I can finally share, after the press presentation conference of the Prize last October 30, this wonderful news that comes at an important time for my career. The unconditional love I feel for Piero Ciampi’s art, poetry and figure is not a secret, over the years, I’ve played several of his songs in many of my concerts. I consider Piero Ciampi one of the greatest and constant source of inspiration from italian music all the times. On the evening of November 18 at the Goldoni Theater in Livorno, I will sing “Ha tutte le carte in regola” and it will be a very very special version. I will be accompained by Piccoli animali senza espressione and Maestro and friend Fabio Torriti (viola).
